A tile or slate roof is an interlocking system - the slightest crack or slipped tile can lead to leaks straight into your roof timbers.
What can go wrong
Tiles and slates can crack or slip out of place. White patches on slate or discolouration on tiles often indicates deterioration. Loss of mortar at the ridge or verge will let tiles move. All of these can result in leaks which can quietly damage the rafters and ceilings underneath.

How we repair
Slipped tiles re-hung, broken tiles like-for-like replaced, valleys cleared and re-bedded, ridge tiles re-pointed in lime or sand-and-cement to match. We will inspect the surrounding area for any consequential damage before we leave.
Tile and slate types we work with
Redland concrete interlocking, interlocking slate tiles, concrete plain tiles, clay plain tiles, natural Welsh and Spanish slate, and manufactured fibre-cement slate.
